Quick start
- Install the extensionInstall CCDub from the Chrome Web Store, then refresh any YouTube tabs you already have open. Chrome Web Store
- Open a YouTube videoThe CCDub panel appears in the player. Desktop Chrome and Android phones are both supported.
- Pick your languageSet the translation language in the panel. Subtitles switch to bilingual original + translation, with adjustable font, size, and color.
- Turn on AI dubbing (optional)Sign in to have the translation read aloud in a natural voice. Voice cloning and more are part of membership.
FAQ
Subtitles not showing or not translated?
First check that the video itself has captions (does the CC button in the YouTube player list any?), then refresh the page. For videos without captions, CCDub can generate subtitles with live speech recognition and then translate them — the free tier has a daily limit.
AI translation or dubbing fails?
Mostly a network issue — check your connection and retry. Once your free quota is used up, you can subscribe to continue, or enter your own DeepSeek / OpenAI / Gemini key (BYOK) in settings.
Can't sign in or not receiving the code?
Sign-in happens on auth.qhkly.com with a Google account or an email code. If the code doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or try the other sign-in method a bit later. Still stuck? Contact support below.
Membership, orders, or refunds?
Manage your subscription, invoices, and refund requests from your account page — sign in on this site and use the billing entry under your avatar. Refund windows and payment-channel details are in the refund policy.
